Hey Peri and everyone in the Strangers Project :D
Im still working on some ideas, but there not quite done yet so be patient and they'll be up soon :D Nearly done though.
Its all a bit weird over in the US at the moment - as you know I've started Highschool over here now, and Im now taking Health Class.
Well, this weekend I have to look after an electronic infant which acts just like a real baby and its driving me totally crazy! Its fine during the day but then when it gets to night it wont shut up! lol. Its evil!
Its also very weird because as I get to know people from around the area and at school they all realise that I have an accent so they're always asking me to say stuff, but they love the way I talk, and they want to know all about England!
And even though Im getting used to the area, its still really scary having to meet new people because you dont know anyone and Im no longer in my comfort zone - so Im not as confident as I used to be. :(
Oh yeah!!! I've finally signed up for a drama class!!! woohoo!
My first session was on Thursday evening and they all wanted to know about England and so I dropped the Strangers Project into the convo and they all find it really interesting and they are going to have a look at the blog!!! Yay
Anyhoo, thats the latest so far :D
Talk to you lot later :)

Hey Mel,
How cool! So glad you've found a drama group - I'm sure that will help you feel more at home really quickly - you must let us know how similar or different the sessions are across the sea to MUTM or POTP or Strangers rehearsals...Will you be working towards a performance or is it more like acting classes? How exciting!
That doll sounds a bit scary - best of luck with her and your sleepless nights. Is it just for this weekend? At least you csn and her back then, eh? ;) Perhaps you could write a scene about living with a small mechanical stranger in your bedroom!
Glad to hear the ideas are on their way. Take care and speak soon. Peri :D
Hey.
At the moment its just like a drama group but they said there are some ideas about makin it in2 a final performance thingy. so dat will b cool!
I've got the doll for this weekend - on friday night she was horrible but last night she only woke up twice so it was a bit better. :D

glad to hear the doll's calmed down ;)
Apart from her did you have a good weekend? Any news? I won on Kareoke on Friday night - YAY! how cool am I?!?
Talking of singing, I spoke to Sarah and Jamie (director and writer in NZ) on Thurs about the music aspects of the plays. We're thinking of using Welsh and Maori folk tunes with our own lyrics about the themes - What d'ya reckon? Slough group have already recorded some great tunes and lrics of their own as well and I' msure we'll still find loads of ways of linking the 3 through music, don't you? :D
