Hello!

Aha, ok.
So I'm Rosie. I'm quite a shy person, and I've joined the Strangers project in South Wales. It's perfect for me, because it's in Brynaman and just down the road from where I live. I'm quite nervous when I meet new people but it turned out that everyone was really easy to talk to and I made some new friends!! Yay! And I'm really looking forward now to future rehearsals, but I'm still really confused about how all the plays link up between us, New Zealand and Slough!
Anyway, I'll see the South Wales group on Tuesday,
Byeeee!! xx

Hey Rosie!

Good to see you on the blog. I'm sure you're gonna make loads more friends in the other countries' groups as well once we all get used to communicating through this site even more!

Don't worry about how the plays will link together...they will!

Check out some of the other posts from the last couple of months and see if things start gradually taking shape...

We all missed you very much on Tuesday and looking forward to seeing you again this week. Is Haddy back this week too? Lots to tell you and lots more to do!!! Take care, Peri :D

Hey Rosie, this is Melissa from the Slough end of the Strangers project :D

I think that all of the plays will be linked together simply through communicating with the other groups. Each group will send there scripts to the other groups and Peri and the leaders of the other groups will all work together to link them and make them run smoothly. :D

I hope your enjoying the project, I cant wait to hear about the final outcome :D Although it will be sad to end the project :(

Hey Rosie

Hope you're ok? We all missed you on Tuesday and hope you can make it next week.

Just thought I'd give you a quick update on what we got up to in rehearsal. We split the group into 3 and each group was given a set of words to use and rules to create their own mini story. We had one story about life in Brynaman and the cinema, one about a variety of characters including a miner and and opera singer and one about a man who got lost on the Black Mountain, bought a suitcase and met the leprechaun of the leeks...quite surreal as you can imagine. We also discussed planning a trip to the Wales Millenium Centre to see the musical "The Producers" - hopefully on Tuesday 27th Nov so we'll discuss that further next week.

Take care and hopefully see you on Tues. Peri.
